Cambridge Coffee, Roasted with Purpose

"A coffee shop and bakery that's always packed--taking breakfast to class was such a smart move! Cheddar Cheese Scone: The best scone I've ever seen. Layers were distinct and as thin as a cicada's wing, with a delicate texture and incredible airiness. Cheddar cheese and butter created just the right amount of saltiness and an intensely creamy flavor, topped with the spicy aroma of black pepper. Every bite was a delight for my taste buds. Sticky Bun: A visibly high-calorie bomb, but so delicious you'll never forget it. The croissant dough was also perfectly flaky, with a thin layer of caramelized crust and pecans topping. The former was sweet and sticky, the latter sweet and crunchy, creating a rich and layered flavor. Both of these items are from Seven Stars Bakery in Rhode Island, and here seems to be just a distributor for their central kitchen. They also have their own baking line, but it seems to produce less and have a limited selection. Latte, Cafe Au Lait: Both coffees were more bitter and stronger than usual. Updated 260606 I'm buying breakfast again! They've got so many new baked goods! Banana Bread: The bread was soft and moist, with a thin glaze on the surface, probably some kind of syrup. I personally found it a bit too sweet, and the artificial flavoring was quite noticeable. Latte: A regular latte, but it really helps cut through the richness of the banana bread!"

"I love how big this cafe is and that it has a pretty good amount of seating available to do work. Not too loud and a cozy spot in Cambridge to do work! I ordered a decafel cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. Cappuccino was bitter but maybe because I ordered a decaf. The chocolate croissant was not bad."

"We own and run coffee shops in the UK. We came to Boston and USA for my brother wedding, but also crammed in a load of coffee spots. We went to Arcane and SEY in NY, we tried loads of coffees in and around Boston / Cambridge area and hands down, Broadsheet was our favourite by far. We were so impressed with the coffee, with the staff, with the atmosphere. Couldn't recommend it enough."

"I rode my bike here to meet a friend for coffee. I was pleased to find out that they offer a great selection of brew types and coffee roasts. I definitely want to come back and buy a bag of roasted beans. I ended up ordering a regular espresso and it made me really happy when they served it with a small glass of sparkling water to cut through the tanginess. All this to say I enjoyed my espresso experience here. In terms of coffee shop vibes this place checks all the boxes. The seating area was light and airy, well decorated with plants, and setup with ample seating options. I am excited to come back here again!"

"The coffee at Dutch Bros is consistently good, with a fun variety of flavors that keep things interesting. The staff is super friendly and attentive, which really enhances the experience. However, the drive-thru can get quite busy during peak times, leading to longer waits than I’d like."
